About
Up and coming artist, Zarah Sarina, began writing and performing on Wardandi Noongar land, and is now based in Boorloo, Perth. Zarah releases original alternative songs derived from her own personal experiences of queerness, land appreciation, and femininity. They’ve been releasing songs since 2020, at 15 years old, now 19, she’s released the first single of her developing album, Affinity For Femininity. With influences like Adrienne Lenker and Fiona Apple, her soft vocals paired with poetic lyricism reflect this entirely. She performed at the Bunbury Fringe Festival early 2023 and WAM Fest later that year. To keep up with her upcoming gigs, follow @ zarahsarina on Instagram.
