Young One

About

"Phoebe Bridgers but if she was a burned-out corporate dad." Young One is the indie rock project of Noah Driggs, a Salt Lake City-based singer songwriter. After attending law school and becoming "another un-innocent, elegant fall into the un-magnificent lives of adults", as sung by the National - whose song themes have significantly influenced Young One - Driggs turned to songwriting as a way to battle his quarter-life crisis. Fittingly, Young One's songs focus on escapism, age, ambivalence toward civic and familial responsibilities, and a changing relationship with faith and religion, though frequently approaching these themes with lightheartedness and satire.
