About
Are you ready for total worm domination? Worm Girlz are here to spill the dirt and eat up your scraps with powerful guitars and genius lyrics. Meanjin’s cutest new supergroup is brought to life by Jade Montgomery, Angie Gale, Isabella Wood-de-Melo, Lauren Rowe, and Nikolai Bray. Worm Girlz is an energy; a way of life; a mantra. Why be anything else when you can be a worm girl? Worm Girlz have been wriggling their way across QLD and NSW, supporting Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Spiderbait, Hope D and Betty Taylor, making a splash at Laneway Festival Sydney and Party in Paradise Cairns. Finishing 2024 with a bang Worm Girlz are heading on tour across Australia to celebrate their last single of the year ‘Thinkin’ Bout’ a song that showcases sapphic love as an act of rebellion and celebrates not only queer joy, but also… GIRLZ!
