About
Respect your elder (emos). West Friends is a pop-punk/alternative band hailing from the w(b)est coast consisting of singer/songwriters, frequent collaborators, and longtime friends, Jordan Renshaw and Isaiah Dominguez. The two pay homage to the golden-age of pop-punk, (blink-182, New Found Glory , Yellowcard) while also drawing inspiration from newer wave acts (The Story So Far, Hot Mulligan, Four Year Strong). Isaiah has found himself in and around the music industry as a working class singer/songwriter since 2013. His resume includes musical collaborations with Rian Dawson (All Time Low), Austin Jenckes (The Voice), This Providence, and others. He also has had the opportunity to work with industry greats Johnny Minardi (A&R: Fueled By Ramen, Atlantic Music Group), Casey Bates (Producer: Portugal. The Man, MXPX, others), & Geoff Ott (Producer: Nickelback, Something Corporate, Brandi Carlisle, others). Jordan, a multi-instrumentalist and producer, has a back catalog that spans multiple genres from traditional stomp-and-holler folk to a more EDM-focused house project, oddest sea where he collaborated with producers and songwriters such as Rookie of the Year and Chris Varvaro. West Friends will make their debut with the upcoming single “You’ll Hate It Here” on March 28, 2025. Their first full-length record, Junk Drawer, is set to release in June 2025.
