About

Voids, a metalcore band hailing from Hagerstown, Maryland, known for their emotionally charged music and raw, cathartic performances. Their 2017 full-length album, No Character, No Crown, showcased their evolution into a heavier, more melodic sound, blending elements of hardcore and metalcore . After a four-year hiatus, Voids reunited in 2021, driven by a renewed passion for music and a desire to address personal and societal issues through their art. Their comeback single, “Captive,” released in July 2023, delves into the often-overlooked topic of male domestic abuse. Written from the perspective of band members who have experienced various forms of domestic violence, the song aims to break the stigma surrounding male victims and encourage open dialogue . Voids draws inspiration from a wide range of influences which is reflected in their dynamic sound . Their music serves as a platform for healing and self-expression, aiming to provide listeners with a means to cope with personal struggles and find solace in the power of music.
