About
Viva is an artist from Sacramento, California. Her music is inspired by folk, indie, and riot grrrl. She started writing music at the age of 8 and, during Covid, wrote, recorded, and released her first EP, "Second Half," for a school project. While recording music started as a school project, it has become one of her biggest passions. In 2021, Viva released her single, "Eat Your Words" - a song about the standards society lays upon young women. In November of 2023, Viva released her self produced debut album, "As Long as I Can," with the help of other young musicians in Sacramento. She has been featured on Sacramento State KSSU radio and later on KDVS Davis radio. Following the release of her album, Viva had an interview with Sacramento musician Ninefingers, as well an article written by Casey Rafter of the Sacramento News and Review about her album.
