VAABEN
Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark
About
VAABEN is a genre-fluid music project rooted in collaboration, emotion, and human connection. Blending organic instrumentals with elements of pop, indie, electronica, soul, and hip-hop, VAABEN moves fluidly between sounds—always anchored by a deep intention to create music that feels honest and alive. At its core, VAABEN is about altruism—making something for others, not just the self. The name means "weapon" in Danish, but the logo—two hands holding—is a reminder that compassion is the strongest kind of force. While currently a solo project, VAABEN is built on the contributions of many talented instrumentalists, vocalists, and creatives who have helped shape each single and release. Every song is a shared effort, a conversation in sound. VAABEN is not fixed to one genre or formula. It’s a space to explore feeling through melody, rhythm, and texture—inviting listeners to feel seen, heard, and held.
