Niels Sorensen grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, at the height of a rock music resurgence of new bands including <a href="spotify:artist:6meTcQ79DrfkIuSLPZkpBg" data-name="The Story So Far">The Story So Far</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2Ivw6FhAZpa7kiAXWztCq5" data-name="Set Your Goals">Set Your Goals</a> that came out of the Red House scene in Walnut Creek, CA from 2008-2011.
