About
Tuomikoski is a rising Finnish independent pop/rock act known for its melodic, genre-blending sound. Mixing classic pop/rock, indie, modern country, and '80s AOR, Tuomikoski creates a timeless and emotive sonic atmosphere. Originally the solo project of songwriter and guitarist Jari Tuomikoski, the name now represents a growing band built around long-time collaborators, including powerful vocalist Marko Turunen. The upcoming single "Shout it Loud" (out August 8, 2025) continues their recognizable style and marks a new chapter as Tuomikoski evolves into a full band. Producer Aki Sihvonen plays bass, keyboards, and handles production and mixing, while Mikko Kaakkuriniemi contributes drums on all releases. Jari Tuomikoski performs all guitars. All music is recorded, mixed, and mastered at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki. With each release, Tuomikoski draws in new listeners through authentic instrumentation, rich soundscapes, and emotionally driven songs.
