Triples

About

Triples is songwriter, guitarist, and actor Eva Link. With an eclectic taste and a knack for catchy melodies, Eva draws influences from Guided by Voices, and Alex G and stays inspired by the power and charm of 90s rockers Liz Phair, Courtney Love, and Juliana Hatfield. The summer of 2011 was the summer that Eva went to see Hole perform for the first time. This summer also happened to be when she was cast in a supporting role in the horror film House at the End of the Street. After staying up all night on set running through the woods in a mud stained white dress, she would come home to play guitar and write songs about the angst of growing up, missing your family, friendship, existential dread, positive mantras, slivers of hope – songs that would eventually be recorded in Toronto, Canada, with heavy harmonies, driving drums and shimmery guitars.
