About
When Trauma Illinois takes the stage, the sheer intensity of sound instantly turns heads & moves feet. For fans of Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Wolfmother, Dirty Honey, and Greta Van Fleet bring Trauma Illinois. 70’s inspired blues riffs, soaring three part harmonies, & idiosyncratic songwriting encapsulates this eclectic trio’s unique pocket of rock & roll. Inspired by the legendary rock bands of the past & present, the band (Jack Johnson - lead vocals/bass, BB Jordan - lead guitar/vocals, Garrett Crider - drums/vocals) have embarked on an authentic quest to deliver timeless songs to generations of music lovers. Born & raised from Cincinnati, Ohio, the band has made appearances at Bunbury Music Festival and sold out shows across the Midwestern United States. The name ‘Trauma Illinois’ originates from a bout of tragedy. Weeks after their formation, the band was involved in a horrific car accident leaving Jack Johnson in the ICU for days. Fall Out Boy coincidentally visited the hospital, and when informed of Jack’s story, wrote a get well soon card with the P.S. - ‘Trauma Illinois - sweet band name.’
