Too Many Temples
London, ENG, United Kingdom
About
A series of serendipitous events led to Ranj, Sarb, Tom and Alberto meeting somewhere beneath the flightpath of Heathrow Airport. In a pub near Hounslow serving gushing pints, where the music of Radiohead, The Beatles and Wu-Tang Clan could be heard alluringly, they decided to start a band. That band is called Too Many Temples. In the loft of a house in Heston, alongside plates of roti and dhal (no cutlery was present) a notepad rested. Songs were written within it, but that was only half the story. The hiphop drums, the serenading guitar parts and undulating bass lines woven round words telling colourful stories. Noisy stories. Glorious and reflective stories. These are those songs. From beneath the flightpath.
