About
Sean Curran has been writing solo music since he was 15, telling tales of his melodramatic adventures through his adolescence. He has struggled with mental illness his entire life, and always battled with the barriers of language. It can be very difficult to express oneself in the heat of conversation. If you dig up his old projects, they are sad and defeated. They are also, however, vulnerable and painfully honest. They effect the listener deeply, speaking a language that a suffering ear might understand. Tinø came to fruition through a longing to do something good with music. Up to that point, his music had been raw creative expression, but once he had mastered the art of self expression, he decided to take another step and reign in the direction his music took the listener. At first it was very difficult, as he wanted to introduce the essence of happiness and fulfillment to the listener. But he did not feel that. So he stopped writing music. He stopped writing music and focused on being happy. Hours were spent in prayer and contemplation on how to create music that would change people's lives for the better. It was early April when he woke up to a jolt around 5 in the morning. A song was playing in his head. He raced into his home studio and immediately got to work on "Good Morning", and to hear what follows, you'll just have to listen to his debut album, "The Adolescent".
