THUDD

About
An energetic hard rock band coming out of Brighton, England. THUDD combine their influences from Pop, Rock and Metal to create their own melody driven sound with heavy elements. Kickstarting their journey back in late 2019, founding members Jack Brown, Daniel Davies, Matt Flood and Ben Arrowsmith began their journey after meeting at BIMM Brighton while studying music. And after almost five years and the departure of their founding guitarist, Daniel Davies - THUDD are going strong with new groundbreaking music. The trio have already got two EPs under their belt, with their debut - Not My Type (2020), providing classic 90s inspired rock, with catchy choruses and head-banging riffs. These stylistic choices paved the way towards the success of their sophomore - Heartache and the Art of the Escape (2021), which ventures into themes of escapism and heartbreak, through the medium of a more modern and experimental style of rock. Their latest releases - Empty (2023) and The Last of Me (2024) continue to tread the line between heavy metal and hard rock while exploring fantasy themes, paving the way towards their next EP.
