The Wednesdays
Seattle, Washington, United States
About
The Wednesdays are a community oriented punk band devoted to radical justice– serving you millennial post-angst rooted in queer perspectives. Currently, they are working on their second album and playing shows throughout the Pacific Northwest. “The Wednesdays have an earnest sound reminiscent to post punk bands like The Raincoats and The Vaselines. The band has natural chemistry with each other; exuding casualness and fun attitudes towards live performance that always leaves you smiling. The songs have a political tone, while not straying away from personal reflection and storytelling. You get a sense watching them that every band member is equal component to the project, and that they are learning and growing together” -- Tyson Ballew, Executive Director at Make.Shift Art Space
