The Villaintinos
Columbus, Ohio, United States
About
Leah Hanson - Vocals Todd Novak - Guitar Matt Grover - Drums Jay Donovan - Bass “The Villaintinos are a finely honed Rock & Roll machine!” — Tom Butler - Music Director CD92.9 FM Blazing through the venues in the Columbus, Ohio live music scene, The Villaintinos have created a unique sonic punch, drawing inspiration from early rock legends like X, The Damned, Blondie, and The Cult. Their visceral live shows and tight, hook-driven songs grab hard while vocalist Leah Pugh simultaneously beguiles and bulldozes - luring the crowd in closer just before “showing ‘em a little teeth.” The Villaintinos’ self-titled first album features eight original tracks, packing fifty pounds of rock into a ten-pound sack. Recorded at Relay Recording in Columbus, OH, Producer and Engineer Jon Fintel took great care to capture the band’s musical urgency and melodic tension. “A band that has simply exploded on the Columbus music scene.” — Rick Gethin, Music In Motion Columbus “A great live band that hits just as hard in the studio.” — Jon Fintel, Producer and Recording Engineer
