The Urban Sea
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
About
The Urban Sea is quickly becoming one of Brisbane’s most exciting indie rock bands, known for their sound that mixes the Spacey Jane jangle with Arctic Monkeys swagger, and a touch of Sam Fender’s raw storytelling. Renowned for their energetic live shows, they balance catchy, roots-driven hooks with deeper emotional moments, creating music that lets you both let loose and reflect. A staple in Brisbane’s live music scene, they’ve taken the stage at iconic venues like The Zoo and Black Bear Lodge, and made a splash at festivals like the Woodford Folk Festival and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Fan Festival. Their debut single "Underground Love" and self-titled EP received national airplay, paving the way for their album Fall Back to Reason, featuring standout tracks like "Devil in the Church." Now, as they prepare to release their new 6-track EP, Sunsets and Silhouettes along with a nationwide tour, The Urban Sea continues to bring their blend of raw emotion, good vibes, and infectious energy to every stage, leaving the crowd always wanting more.
