About
«The Slow Painters is chockablock with a career’s worth of awe-striking moments.» - The Big Takeover Never has a band name been more fitting than that of The Slow Painters. 16 years after forming in Norway’s capital, the four-piece finally released their self-titled debut LP on August 28th 2020. The ten song debut blends brit pop with noisy-yet-melodic indie rock. It’s a testament to lost opportunities and outsider pop songs too good to let go. The album is produced and mixed by Sjur Lyseid of The Little Hands Of Asphalt and mastered by George Tanderø. The Slow Painters are: Andreas W. H. Lindvåg (vocals, guitar), Simen Breen (guitar, vocals), Paal Brevik Wangsness (bass) and Øyvind Bersvendsen (drums, vocals).
