About
‘The Sea Upon Us’ is a post-hardcore band originating from the solo work of guitarist & songwriter Pablo Barco. Largely inspired by films like ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ & various emo/rock/metal bands from the mid-2000’s, Pablo aimed to write songs that would satisfy a craving for the Halloween spirit year-round in a thematic and theatrical fashion within the genre of rock & metal music. In 2021, the project expanded to a full-band setup consisting of members Anthony Valentine (vocals/United States), Justin Woodward (guitarist/United Kingdom), & holds it’s founding member Pablo Barco (guitarist/Spain).
