The Scary Loud

About
"The Scary Loud" is a Toronto-based thikkkk pop rock band. Their unique sound combines loud and heavy guitars with poppy melodies, creating a blend of pop punk and power pop reminiscent of a less-nerdy Weezer. With an unapologetic "f-you" attitude, that's less rebellion and more boredom. They break boundaries and deliver memorable live performances. Their lyrics, despite the poppy sound, delve into dark and uncomfortable themes, challenging conventions and incorporating strong language. The band's energetic stage persona is marked by self-deprecating humour and unconventional stage banter, and creates an unforgettable and inclusive experience for fans. With their rebellious spirit and sonic liberation, The Scary Loud redefines pop rock rebellion, pushing boundaries and defying expectations in the music industry. Founded by singer/guitarist and music producer Scotty Komer, The Scary Loud is comprised of various members of Canadian punk and hardcore bands. The rhythm section is provided by bassist/vocalist Connor Lovat-Fraser (singer of Boys Night Out), drummer Matt McCausland, while lead guitarist Joe Baldasio (Twin Rivals) rips his axe to shreds. This eclectic group of artists forms an act greater than the sum of their parts and is a harmonic force with a bright future. But they're idiots.
