The Old Youth

About

The Old Youth is an alternative rock band that emerged from Carlos De Armas' (drummer) hot and sweaty garage in Miami, FL. When Carlos and bass guitarist, Anthony Corredor, met in high school, they developed their rhythmic bond through spontaneous and unhinged jam sessions to playing riffs and licks from the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers while skipping and ditching class. After high school, the boys met vocalist & rhythm guitarist, Pablo Rozencweig, who further glued and solidified their sound with his smooth, blissful voice. Since then, they've continued to make energetic, and hard-hitting music heavily influenced by early 90s bands including Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots while also adding their own personal touches from different genres they grew up listening to. The band's most recent member, Oscar Rodriguez, has joined then and further launched the bands sound with his technical yet soulful lead guitar solos and tones. Together The Old Youth are excited to share their new single "Livid" off their upcoming EP.
