About
The Jacklights, from Boston, MA, play melodic punk with a 90s vibe and thoughtful lyrics. Their second EP, 'Drift' was described by Boston's alt-weekly as being "potentially one of the top records to come out of Boston in 2021,” while a Razorcake review said "The trio makes punk rock with a rare mix of beauty and grit." A band that wears its heart on its sleeve – but never too seriously – they are influenced by the likes of Hüsker Dü, Jawbreaker, Descendents, Alkaline Trio, Tsunami Bomb, and Pretty Girls Make Graves. The band is: Nilagia McCoy (vocals, guitar), Mike Allen (bass), and Mike Gaylord (drums). They formed in early 2020 and their third EP, ‘Final Girl’ will be released on October 3, 2023.
