The Brads
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
About
Formed in early 2019, The Brads are a Melbourne based Indie Rock band, defined by their laidback yet groovy sound. Soon after forming, the 5 piece began to make waves in the local music scene, packing out places such as Sooki Lounge & The Tote. In July, The Brads released their debut single 'Me & You'. This was shortly followed by their second single 'Work of Art', which received air time on several radio stations, including ABC Perth. In October of 2019, The Brads released their debut EP 'Reefers Caravan'. The name is a reference to Melbourne's iconic Reefers Cabaret, a popular music venue during the '70s. The EP has already started to gain acclaim in Australia, with reviews from people such as Triple J host Declan Byrne, calling the song Sunsets a 'coastal beauty'. In 2022 The Brads return, marking the start of a new era with 'Gilbert Pinfold', followed in hot succession by 'She's Got it Covered' as lead singles for their second EP ‘Pretty, Anything’ Members Brad McDonald - Guitar/Vocals Campbell Stiff - Bass/Vocals Drew Hill - Lead Guitar Charlie Hyde - Keyboard Austin Richardson - Drums thebradss@outlook.com
