Thank You & Good Night was born in 2018, following the unexpected series of events that led Emir to end his adventure at Berklee College of Music. If you think this sounds an awful lot like John Mayer; you are correct, you are evil, you ARE the whole package. When Emir landed at Munich airport for the first time, he held his exmatriculation certificate in his hand, and thought to himself “what is cooler than to start a band after dropping out of music school?”. He started writing. He was having the time of his life. There were tears, there was blood. It was real. Just when he thought it couldn’t get any better, he made a best friend, a ’95 model lead guitarist in mint condition. Andreas was all about guitars, random hugs and occasional tears, for reasons unknown. A love-hate relationship has started. No one could have penetrated their bond, or so they thought, when Mischa was added to the equation (on bass guitar, of all things). It was official. This “thing” was the most likeable three-way... thing. But they wanted to rock. They needed live drums. Marcel made the equation complete. They reinvented the wheel in a way that you’ve probably seen before and liked it. Word has it that you will experience all kinds of emotions on their shows: From heavy rock that you can sweat to, to emotional ballads that could get way too personal. These days, you will find Thank You & Good Night writing melodies that are waiting to be caught. Like a Snitch. And you, sir, are the seeker.
