About
“The band seems to exist in a bubble, suspended in the moment between Nirvana and electronica; but its out-of-time quality proves to be an asset.” — Pitchfork Chicago band Sybris just released their first new music after 15 years. Apropos of the band's sardonic spirit, the song titled "Dead" declares their return. The band has announced a full length album, Gold on Hold, set to release September 2024. Recorded in 2012, the aptly named full length is due out on the similarly resurrected Absolutely Kosher label.
