About
Sweet Coins are a band that hate to stay in one place for too long. After amassing over 13,000 streams on their Pop Punk inspired single, Worth It, the band decided to experiment. The band’s new EP, The Downsides Of Being Happy is a turning point in the band’s style. Fusing pop influenced choruses, hyperpop synths and the type of low tuned riffs often utilised by Loathe and Sleep Token, the band go on a multi genre exploration of all the music that they love. This melting pot of genres results in a distinct sound that, although varied, is instantly identifiable as Sweet Coins, pushing them away from their indie and pop punk roots and towards wider soundscapes and bigger stages.
