About
Superbloom is a Brooklyn-based alternative rock band known for their explosive fusion of grunge, shoegaze, and post-hardcore influences. Formed in 2018, the quintet—Dave Hoon (vocals), Tim Choate (guitar), Ian Marchionda (guitar), Brian DiMeglio (bass), and Matteo Dix (drums)—have carved out a sound that channels the raw energy of '90s icons like Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins, while infusing it with modern grit and melody. Their debut album, Pollen (2021), and the follow-up EP, Life’s a Blur (2023), showcase their dynamic range, from cathartic alt-rock anthems to introspective acoustic ballads. Superbloom continue to captivate audiences with their visceral and emotionally charged performances.
