Sueños
Cape Town, WC, South Africa
About
Sueños is a deliverance to dream states. The band navigates boundaries between dualities, blurring lines and deconstructing dichotomies of light and dark, loud and quiet, material & immaterial, consciousness and unconsciousness. Their music is a vehicle through which these opposing spheres meet in reciprocal unison. The band formed in 2021 and started alchemically melding washy psych grooves and intricate jazz-inspired patterns to create a reverberation of lengthy bohemian soundscapes. Reinforced by a collective move to Cape Town, Sueños made a name for themselves in the DIY psych rock scene with their visceral, slick, nuanced, and well-thought-out sets, constantly shifting between manic and subdued.
