Storms Within

About

Storms Within is a female fronted hard rock band hailing from Erie, Pennsylvania. The band has hard hitting vocals and catchy riffs, with a delicate balance of firey solos. They like to write hard hitting, explosive, rock/metal with grooving-sing-a-long choruses. Erica Mayr (Vocals, formerly iScream & A Bed of Razors), Tom Wurst (Guitar, formerly Scarwork & Deny the Sun) and Ron Dickum (Drums, formerly Vendetta & A Bed of Razors) founded the band after the dissolution of their prior project in the summer of 2014. After several rounds of member changes over the years, they have finalized the current line up with David Cilluffo (Guitar, Thirty3 Cell, solo musician and session artist) and Stan Cartright. Storms Within were the recipients of the 2017 and 2018 Rock Erie Music Awards (REMA) for metal music. They have also shared the stage with national acts such as Leaves Eyes, Texas Hippie Coalition, Doro Pesch of Warlock, 9Electric, Reign of Z and September Mourning. The band released their debut album, 'Minds of the Wicked' in January of 2023. They have most recently released a cover of Metallica's 'For Whom the Bell Tolls'. They are now back in the studio working on their second album, 'Revenge Tastes Sweet' set to debut in the summer of 2025. Storms is ready to deliver their music along with bold lyrics and in your face energy, keep your eyes peeled.
