About

American Singer-Songwriter & Producer Growing up in a small North Florida town near the coast, I was surrounded by swamps, rivers, creeks, and a vast national forest that includes Wakulla Springs—one of the country’s largest natural springs. This landscape inspired my song “Mysterious Waters,” inviting listeners to experience its beauty through my lyrics. Music became part of my life early on, especially during car rides where I controlled the radio. Country music defined my youth, but as I grew, rock ‘n’ roll broadened my horizons. Bands like The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Doobie Brothers fueled my passion, while artists like Jackson Browne, James Taylor, and Tom Petty inspired my storytelling. In 2017, I moved to Nashville, TN, to chase a publishing deal but found my heart wasn’t in writing solely for others. This realization led me to co-found Highway Natives, performing across the Southeast and at iconic venues like Nashville’s Bluebird Café. We released two EPs and two albums, earning recognition from American Songwriter and Medium. In 2021, I built a studio to explore ideas and collaborate with friends. By 2024, I opened it to the public as Southern Echoes Studio, where I’ve embraced producing music for other artists. After nearly a decade focused on band work, I’m back in the studio, creating music of my own. I can’t wait to share these new songs with you!
