Stereosity

About

Often described as twinkly and compositionally beautiful, Stereosity’s unique sound and vision have created a lasting impact on the math rock community—one that resides in their joyfully-complex rhythms and time signatures, a striking contrast of inspiring guitars and melancholy vocals, and their colorful live performance. There is an intimacy between the two guitars—a daring rhythm section accompanies floating, catchy vocal lines to create a menagerie in a genre so niche and established; something that breaks the boundaries of what is possible in the modern rock scene. Their newest single, “Cocaine Bear,” is the second single off of their upcoming album, “New Life Will Grow.” The name captures the chaotic energy in endless time signature changes, with an underlying feeling of hope in metaphorical lyrics. The new album showcases growth and prosperity, as the band dives into the heart of their own established sound.
