Solomon Foster
Brookline, Massachusetts, United States
About
Like most young Jewish men before him, Solomon aspires to the kind of urban cowboy aesthetic best exemplified by Nathaniel Rateliff. Unfortunately, he cannot grow a beard. His obsession with alternative country and Americana music has lead him to a style rooted in folk that nevertheless feels authentic to someone admittedly raised in Brookline, MA. Solomon's sophomore effort, In A Dry Season, features a return to an organic set of sounds led by engineer Nate Mendelsohn (Frankie Cosmos, Dougie Poole) and tracked mostly live at Figure 8 Recording. It is due out in January of 2025.
