Socially Acceptable

About
Socially Acceptable is a 5-piece alternative/indie rock band from Chicago, Illinois made up of Luke Luhrsen (Lead Vocals & Guitar), Dominic DeAngelis (Lead Guitar), Michael Leszczynski (Bass & Vocals), Ernie Santeralli (Piano & Rhythm Guitar), and Alex Panayiotou (Drums & Vocals). They began as a cover-band in a University of Illinois fraternity's cut house basement in the fall of 2013, playing the campus bars until graduating and moving north to Chicago, expanding into weddings, private events, and venues. During the summer of 2020, with live music events postponed indefinitely, they entered a new chapter and began writing original music as a creative outlet, culminating in the release of "Don't Know Yet" – a 6-song EP featuring songs composed by each band member and drawing on the diverse influences specific to them.
