So It Was
Louisville, Kentucky, United States
About
So It Was is an agile indie-rock outfit, described by Various Small Flames as marked by their "earnest heart and laidback charm." Hailing from Louisville, KY, they are set to release the lead single from their new EP, In a Rose. On songs that are at once true to their early-aught indie roots, and yearning for more boisterous arrangements, songwriter Daniel Lobb encourages self-reflection amidst patriarchy, white supremacy, and runaway climate disaster, all the while maintaining a "sense of casual ease" with his "distinctively welcoming delivery."
