About
Slowr is an indie artist born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, now crafting music from the cozy confines of his Portland, Oregon living room. With deep roots in the Santa Cruz indie scene, Slowr’s sound blends plush guitars, ambient synths, and reflective lyrics, creating an atmospheric space that feels both intimate and expansive. From DIY beginnings to a distinctive approach to production, Slowr is all about creating honest, layered tracks that hit both emotionally and sonically. His music reflects a journey—personal, sonic, and geographical—from the laid-back surf town of Santa Cruz to the eclectic streets of Portland. When not making music, Slowr spends his time with his loyal companion, Sammy, the best dog ever. For fans of raw indie soundscapes and alternative textures, Slowr’s work offers a compelling mix of nostalgia, introspection, and sonic exploration.
