About
The cathartic chaos is intentional, it is necessary. Through compelling, witty lyricism and scream- able anthems, Sir Echo is committed to bringing a fresh outlook to female-fronted hard rock. Displaying romantic destruction through noise, — Sir Echo is a demonstration of the burning desire to further understand human connection through the maze of a chronically-online world. Their live shows tread the line between a gritty punk show, and an immersive art installation. “Their latest release, ‘Venison’, immediately grabs the listener’s attention with the visual of “lungs like dirty laundry lint”, depicting unhealthy coping mechanisms within a relationship gone wrong. Wordy lines like “a crazed paradoxical, parasitical nuisance” are reminiscent of early <a href="spotify:artist:20JZFwl6HVl6yg8a4H3ZqK" data-name="Panic! At The Disco">Panic! At The Disco</a>, and the song structure overall takes inspiration from music of the 2000s. The driving guitar and building drums leave space for the lyrics to make an impact, manifesting in the angsty repetition of the last lines of the song.” -- Devon Jane Schweizer, SUNY New Paltz ‘The Oracle’.
