About
Shiloh Mae is a Portland singer-songwriter who is nothing if not overly sincere. Still new to the scene, she is currently following up her debut 2022 EP with singles from her next body of work. Her most recent track, the yearning and nostalgic "Photograph", describes the challenging task of holding on, even in the midst of letting go. Muffled guitar seeps through the first verse like a blurry recollection and eventually builds to meet the plaintive realization: “it isn’t mine to have”. Fans of Lizzy McAlpine, Maggie Rogers, and Kacey Musgraves will love her lyric-centric, melody forward songs, with vocals many liken to the Cranberries. https://www.shilohmaemusic.com/ Shiloh Mae began sharing her repertoire of songs and performing as a solo artist in 2018. Her influences range from 70's folk classics, to 90s soft rock, to the indie pop of today. Previously, she wrote and played with her band, Bird and Willow, formed with her brother Jared. Bird and Willow shared many Bay Area stages over the years, both with fellow local artists and some of their influences including Sherwood, Tyson Motsenbocker, and Mike Edel.
