Shaylee

About
Shaylee is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer-songwriter Elle Archer. Bringing together themes of growth, debauchery, pain, and self-improvement, Elle’s songs paint vivid portraits of her life in various states of crisis and triumph, all filtered through a unique kaleidoscopic mix of power pop, post-rock, and something all her own. Their most recent release The Name of this Band is Shaylee is a product of nearly a decade of life experience and ceaseless perfectionism. The follow-up to 2022’s Kill Rock Stars debut Short-Sighted Security, The Name of this Band finds longtime bassist and life partner Robin Cook joining in on mixing and arranging.
