Sharman Den
Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
About
In a time of hashtags and sub-genres one may find it tough to frame the creative flow of Sharman Den, whose common denominator is Edu Verdú (vocals, guitar). Formerly founded as his solo project, he joined forces with his fellow Barcelonians Dan Arisa (drums, percussion) and Blanes "Petit" (bass guitar). After only a few rehearsals, the power-trio found itself recording at Sol de Sants, one of the most renowned studios in Barcelona, under the guidance of its chief producer Alberto Pérez. The result is the band's first EP "Low Hombre", a 5-track compendium of elusive Rock & Roll. From cryptic to acid lyrics, 12-string guitar riffs, unlikely bass lines and eclectic drum patterns; all led by a voice coming from the depths of a place than can only be evoked through a ritual. A place out of space walled around the fires of mindless wisdom. Because “Sharman Den” is the old lair of the rhapsodes, where still resonate the tales of the ineffable, spelled through harmonic sophisms in the language of Titans.
