Settle For Less
Chelmsford, Essex, United Kingdom
About
Settle For Less formed in 2014, with members of Pop Punk Not Pills and Famous For Nothing joining forces, based in Chelmsford, Essex. They released their first EP Long Overdue in 2016, fully self-produced. Featuring songs such as Thanks, This Song Sucks, California, All About You and Guten Tag. Settle For Less then toured the UK twice with the full band consisting of Joseph Joy, George Dunbar, Henry Lawes, Jake Brown and Brandon Townsley. In late 2017, the band made the conscious decision to remove George Dunbar and Henry Lawes from the band, leaving them without guitarists. Brandon Townsley moved from playing drums for the band over to guitar, and they welcomed Brandon Allingham to the band just after they released their split single Forget Me Not (Alias Studios) and Begin To Panic (Featuring Rory Welch of Inversions) (Avenue Studios). In 2018 Settle For Less teased their comeback by playing a one off show at Chinnery's in Southend On Sea, showing off 3 of their new songs. The band recorded and produced their new EP Sick Of Being Bitter in their living room and were assisted by Alias Studios (Bert and Eric from Chunk! No, Captain! Chunk!) for the mixing and mastering. Sick Of Being Bitter had been sat on for over a year before the band decided to release it, following the release of the music video for Yum-Yums. On July 9th 2019 Sick Of Being Bitter was released, giving the world a showcase of technical and heavy pop punk, with powerful lyrics and plenty of energy.
