About
Serendipity Row, aka Ollie Mon, is a singer/songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland who writes bittersweetly honest and confessional songs about his personal experiences. Ollie’s first full-length album, “False Perceptions,” was written during his junior and senior years of high school. This album takes inspiration from folk songwriters of the 1960s such as Simon & Garfunkel, Vashti Bunyan, and Joni Mitchell, and indie pioneers of the 1990s such as Elliott Smith and Neutral Milk Hotel. With its mellow harmonies and poignant lyricism drawing from recollections of idealization, longing to be free while in a repressive environment, and ghosts from the past that still linger, Serendipity Row’s music almost feels like listening to a scrapbook of memories, or the diary entries of a close friend.
