About
Tastefully blending modern metalcore and nostalgic old school emo, five piece outfit Sequoia Grove were formed in Philadelphia in 2022. Their debut single, Stay With Me, combines aggressive yet sporadic rhythms, erie and haunting synths, and even tastes of jazz and soul chords to give a refreshing take on the heavier side of the genre. The song explores the ecstasy of a relationship and the dark, desperate lows that come with it.
