About
Edinburgh’s Science Made Us Robots are born out of Green Day, Rancid, NOFX and Bad Religion. Fast and melodic American punk, sung from English and Scottish lungs. Formed in 2012, SMUR have four albums under their belt. ‘Rats & Swans’ has the harder edges, ‘Paper Bones’ is more melodic, ‘Dividing by Zero’ is acoustic, and 'Grow Up Bored' is straight up pop punk. The band have contributed songs to releases from Kibou and Struck Dum Records and have played across the UK, from London’s New Cross Inn and Ipswich’s Royal Oak, to Glasgow 13th Note, Aberdeen Downstairs and Blackpool's Rebellion Punk Festival.
