San Salinas
Cleveland, Ohio, United States
About
Alternative-indie rock songwriter/producer/guitarist Matt Gibson thought he was done with music. But five years after leaving his previous band, SomeKindaWonderful (whose single "Reverse" reached #18 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart), he has returned with a new project, San Salinas. Inspired largely by the sounds and styles of 1960s rock and 90s alternative/grunge, San Salinas brings timeless songs for the modern day. Honest, introspective and searching for truth, San Salinas attempts to make sense of the human condition; as well as explore Gibson’s own psyche and vulnerabilities. Expect big guitars and passionate vocal delivery, laid over aggressive drums and fat bass grooves from this Cleveland native. Be sure to follow San Salinas on your favorite social media platforms for updates.
