Hi there, my name is Ruben and I‘m an 18yo musician and, mostly self-taught, producer from Switzerland. Music has always been a big part of my life, for I grew up in a pretty musical household. My parents enjoy making music themselves, but they‘re not professionals. Especially on my mother‘s side, almost everybody happens to be somewhat involved in the music business. As a sibling of two older brothers and a younger sister, I’ve also been quite influenced by them in terms of my music. My oldest brother, for example, had been playing the drums for years by the time I started taking lessons myself. The other one knew how to play the keys, which I later switched to, starting off my teenage years. Now I really enjoy singing as well and overall exploring the variety of instruments there is and learning to utilize what I've already been given. My faith is another topic I want to talk about. Ever since I accepted Jesus Christ into my life, things changed drastically. All of a sudden, I wanted to give it all while honoring God by dedicating everything, including my music, to him, which is why I decided to write most of my songs about him. Yes, I have questions, and I struggle a lot, but because of that very reason, living with Jesus is so exciting.
