Room 27

About

Room 27 is an all-female alternative blues-rock band based in East Lothian, Scotland. They are known for their original music, spanning from blues to punk rock, and have been playing together since early 2022 when they were only 13 years old. After touring across Scotland with ‘Hit the Road’ in February 2024, they have built up a strong following from around Scotland. They have been relentless in writing and recording new music while playing iconic venues like ‘Sneaky Petes’ and ‘The Attic’. Their debut single ‘Claw Machine’ is a fan favourite, captivating audiences with every live performance. With their recent 2-track single release; ‘second look’, the girls have moved to a more bluesy feel, with guitarist/singer Mel introducing a new sound in track 1 ‘she’s all mine’. The girls have personal influences from Jimi Hendrix to Pantera to Olivia Rodrigo, which gives variety to all their music, while bringing multiple genres together to create their style.
