Ricky Sheridan

Ricky Sheridan is a Dutch singer-songwriter and actor from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. After his graduation at the University of the Arts in Amsterdam, he landed his big role in a teen-movie called ‘Misfit The Switch’. He fell in love with film and acting on screen. His other love always has been writing and singing. He journaled about the feelings he experienced in daily life. Once he sat down behind his piano, played with chords and melodies, songs came out of his texts. His music debut ‘Things I Would Tell My Dad’ is a visual album where he combines his talent for acting, singing, writing and filmmaking. His songs tell a story about loss, grief and friendship. This story is inspired by his own experience of losing his father as a young adult. Ricky is an artist who feels empowered by turning his pain into art, to create music that works healing for himself and for others.
