About
hi friends, Remember to Breathe began as an acoustic side project for me - taking the name of a dashboard confessional song - while i was in an underoath and the devil wears prada cover band in high school. i released my first full-length, lost in neverland, on valentine’s day my senior year, taking inspiration from armor for sleep and all time low. after a failed attempt at producer school in LA i moved back home to south dakota and the band became a band, recording and releasing music and playing local shows. in 2016, remember to breathe released Lessons on Getting out & Growing Up on Loud, Broke, and Dumb Records, leading to so many opportunities, including sharing the stage with the spill canvas, the red jumpsuit apparatus, remo drive, belmont, young culture, and playing gigs in chicago, detroit, and minneapolis. i moved to seattle in 2021 and started making music again for the first time in 2023, independently, after a four year hiatus. i cannot overstate enough the feeling of support i’ve received after releasing Don't Leave Me, Love and Loved You Like a Drug. thanks for sticking around and here’s to the next chapter - adel
