Rec Affect

About

Rec Affect is an alternative/punk band from Los Angeles, California comprised of vocalist/guitarist Jake Jones, drummer/backing vocalist V Stender, bassist/backing vocalist Donnavin Zepeda, and lead guitarist Riley Duarte. Formerly Reconciled Affection, Jake and V started the band in High School and in 2020 released their first EP, Pretty Little Polaroid. Since their rebrand in 2021, Rec Affect has relentlessly been playing shows all over the LA area. Their music ranges from songs like "AMDFHE" (All My Damn Friends Hate Each Other), that display the raw, fun, yet aggressive sound you expect from a punk band, to songs like "Hell Free", that dive into more serious emotional content, both lyrically and musically. Rec Affect brings this full spectrum of feel to the stage with their high energy performance and audience interaction.
