About
dictionary definition of powderkeg , "a dangerous or volatile situation". This high-octane alt-rock/grunge powerhouse means business, merging Australia's classic surf rock style with a heavier, homegrown sound. PowderKeg is turning up the volume with raw riffs, gritty energy, and the spirit of the '90s, charging into the forefront of Tasmanian bands over the last 12 months. Recognised for their hit singles "STOMP" and "Kingdom", these lads have rocked stages at Party In The Paddock, Forth Pub and Great Escape. If you're ready for an explosive set that brings the house down, PowderKeg is the band for you!
